Boat and kayak owners, this 17.3x12.4 inch rectangular hatch cover is exactly what you need for easy access to storage compartments while keeping everything dry and secure. The ABS plastic construction is seriously durable - it can handle sun exposure, saltwater, and general marine abuse without cracking or becoming brittle. The cut opening is 14x9.5 inches, giving you plenty of room to reach in for gear, while the overall 17.3x12.4 inch outside dimensions provide a solid sealing surface. The waterproof seal is the real winner here - it keeps water, dust, and debris out effectively, which is crucial when you're out on the water. The 180-degree opening means the lid stays out of your way when you're accessing your storage, and the two recessed handles make opening and closing super easy, even with wet hands. Installation is straightforward with the pre-drilled countersunk holes and included screws. This isn't one of those flimsy hatches that leaks after a few uses - the quality is solid and it's built to last through seasons of use. Perfect for kayaks, small boats, yachts, or even RV deck plates where you need reliable access to storage areas. Keeping your gear dry and organized makes every boating trip more enjoyable, and this hatch delivers the waterproof security you need without breaking the bank. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade if your current hatches are worn out or you're building custom storage compartments.
